  I have had several installations of windows and also garage doors with Zenith and found them to be excellent quality and the service I received was professional and efficient. One issue I do have with them is that they do not provide a detailed schedule of work which most companies do provide. However, with the windows and garage there was no confusion and the jobs were completed satisfactorily and on time. Their initial costings are generally double the current market value but with negotiation you can get them down to a reasonable, if high end, costing. My problem with Zenith was that I went on to order a conservatory from them and then the problems of not having a detailed work schedule materialised very quickly. They were late starting the job....but there were valid reasons for that and we were not unduly worried. Unfortunately from there things started to go very wrong. We found that one team of workmen would come and complete their section of work and then would have no knowledge of when the next team would arrive. In each case it necessitated us to phone Zenith and explain the next job to be done and schedule it in ourselves. Invariably the next appointment time would be 2-3 weeks later. We were fortunate that I had worked previously for a building company and knew the correct sequence of events - because Zenith seemed to have little grasp on what was required. One job which we had particular problems scheduling was after the temporary floor had been laid. The next team should have been the floor levelling team who would have sealed the temporary concrete floor. This took nearly two months to arrange and so we had an excessive amount of dust throughout the house until this job could be done. We also had some problems with the roof glazing leaking in several places and this also took several weeks to resolve. Another problem arose because Zenith apparently were unaware - or at least had not scheduled - a plastering team to plaster over the breize blocks. This took several phone calls of explaining, two abortive appointments and several weeks to finally achieve. The whole job ended up taking over three months instead of the 3 weeks they had originally suggested was achievable. At the end of the build I complained and asked for compensation and was offered a derisory amount. I opened up a dispute with them and found that their communication was extremely slow and inefficient. Although the finished product was finally of acceptable standard I feel their internal organisation and communication and customer service is not acceptable and would not be able to recommend them.
